Focusing on the Positives

Anxiety, often caused by an overload of stress, physical and/or emotional, would have us focus on negative experiences and it would have us believe that positive experiences do not exist.  IMG_3148

As we focus on the negatives, anxiety grows stronger and our experience and expectations grow darker. An alternate to this dynamic is to open yourself, with intention, to that which is positive no matter how small, and allow yourself to take it in.  This type of daily practice, focusing on the positive, leads us away from anxiety into happiness.
