“Half of life is taken up with sleep.  Ten years are spent in childhood.  Twenty years are lost in old age.  Out of the remaining twenty years, sorrow, complaining, pain and agitation eliminate much time, and hundreds of physical illnesses destroy much more.”

– Budda

If we are to enjoy the time we have in this life we must be mindful of the reality that we will die.  When we are mindful of death we are more appreciative of the life we have.
